SUMMARY:Hands-On Cooking Class: Paella
DESCRIPTION:Join Chef Jennifer Romero in this class and you will create a beautiful\, traditional Spanish saffron-infused rice dish called paella with bold ingredients and complex flavor notes. Under Chef Jennifer’s tutelage\, you will learn more about the history of paella\, learn necessary knife skills and make an authentic Paella de Mariscos using fresh\, seasonal vegetables\, prawns\, clams\, mussels and more in a relaxed and fun environment all while meeting new people and making new friends. At the end of the cooking class\, you will all sit down and enjoy a wonderful meal together. Glasses of Spanish wine will be available for sale in the class. \nAbout the Instructor: Chef Jennifer is passionate about paella. She has taken paella classes from master Chefs in Valencia\, Spain where paella originated. She graduated from the American River College’s prestigious Culinary Arts and Hospitality & Restaurant Management program and is the owner of Hooked on Paella\, a catering company that specializes in creating paellas with fresh\, locally sourced ingredients in the greater Sacramento region.
