50th Anniversary Celebration

We’re thrilled to share that our 50th Anniversary Celebration will take place just one block from the Co-op at Winn Park! This free event will celebrate 50 years of cooperation and community with live music by Mind X and ACME Soundtracks, food trucks, brand showcases, craft beer, a wine garden sponsored by Eco Terreno Wines, free tarot readings by Isabel Emilie, kids entertainment and face painting by Pixie Tribe, a DIY Tie-Dye station with special 50th Anniversary shirts hosted by Hi-Fi Tie Dye, yoga and wellness activities by Her Elevated, a bike valet hosted by SABA plus more.

Time: 1pm to 5pm

Location: Winn Park (1616 28th St, Sacramento, CA 95816)

Cost: Free

Parking: Parking is available at the Co-op parking garage on 28th & S. Winn Park is a short 5 minute walk from the Co-op (less than two blocks). Street parking is also available in surrounding areas however it will be limited due to the event.

Bike Valet: SABA will have a complimentary bike valet set up for those who are riding their bikes!

Annual Meeting: This year our annual meeting will be a part of the 50th Anniversary Celebration! Members are invited to show up early at Noon and join us for a year-in-review with members of our Board of Directors.

ACME Soundtracks is known for bringing the energy with an eclectic mix of music from Americana, to yacht rock, to reggae, to soul and everything in between. If you had the chance to catch them at last year's Harvest Festival then you know that this is a performance that you don't want to miss!

Mind X is well known Sacramento jam band that fuses many styles of music - funk, groove, bluegrass, and even some psychedelic rock. Featuring mandolin/violin/banjo sounds with more traditional guitar, bass, and drums Mind X has grown from a trio into a dynamic 5-piece with a unique sound. We are so happy to have them with us again for our big event!

Explore a variety of soothing activities designed to enhance your well-being and bring balance to your life. Stay tuned for an updated schedule featuring time slots for each activity. Gentle Flow with Sarah Bandani — 1:00 p.m.

Through mindful stretching and gentle movements, we will work to alleviate tight hips and shoulders while releasing stress. Class will culminate in a calming meditation. The perfect opportunity to unwind, recharge, and step off your mat feeling renewed!

Elemental Flow with Larraine Michelle — 2:00 p.m.

Elemental Flow will have us bringing the elements of earth, water, air and fire to our mat through movement and breathwork. This flow is for all levels of Yoga, with focus on proper alignment of your body. Joyous vibes, a fantastic playlist, fun and relaxation await you!

Slow Flow Yoga with Azure Stewart, PhD — 3:00 p.m.

A gentle and slow-paced approach that blend physical postures and deep breathing to create mindful body awareness, while providing opportunities to expand your flexibility and releasing tension. Explore your mind-body connection in a supportive and non-intimidating environment. Feel free to bring props to explore your practice like a yoga mat, blocks, straps, and blankets.

Sound Bath with Soulwave Holistics — 4:00 p.m

Come ride the soul wave with a sound bath preview by Soul Wave Holistics. Lay down, close your eyes and enjoy the relaxing effects of the Ocean Drum. The ocean drum is Soul Wave Holistics' most popular instrument. Some of the benefits include reducing stress, deep relaxation and improving sleep quality. Bring what makes you feel comfortable. Blanket, Pillow, Water, Eye Mask and any crystals you'd like charged.

Tarot Card Readings by Isabel Emilie (All Day)

Isabel is an intuitive healer, coach & guide who will be providing Tarot Card Readings! As a spiritual alchemist, she combines yoga philosophy, Reiki, knowledge of crystal healing in her readings to assist others is aligning with their highest good.

In 2020, she created Radical Wellness with Isabel Emilie; A space devoted to intersectional, liberational & decolonial approaches to self discovery through healing, coaching, and ritual. As such, I am committed to honing my offerings and showing up with integrity for women, people of color and the LGBTQ+ community.

Bodywork & Mini-Massages by Danielle Kenna (All Day)

Danielle Kenna has been building her healing toolbox since childhood. Inspired by her indigenous Tlingit roots, she has made it a mission to help people naturally restore body, mind, and spirit. Danielle educates and empowers her clients from a scientific and spiritual approach. She is a CMT, Neuromuscular Therapist, Reiki Master Teacher and Certified Yoga Instructor with over 14 years of professional experience in creating safe spaces for holistic healing. This is your results-driven, methodical therapeutic bodywork.

Danielle will offer mini treatments of therapeutic chair massage, range of motion techniques, and Reiki.

Clo the Cow at the Harvest Festival

Get ready for an afternoon of whimsical wonders and enchanting fun with Pixie Tribe! Featuring local performers who transform into pixie fairies that will captivate kids with a magic show, giant bubbles, face painting, balloon art, and puppetry. Join us for an immersive experience that sparks wonder and laughter, creating cherished memories.

Clover Sonoma will be hosting a coloring book station with product samples and a special appearance by their huggable happy mascot Clo the Cow. Our kids zone also features a built-in playground with slides and a spring-rider horse that is part of Winn Park.

Wellspring Women's Center

Wellspring Women’s Center, in Sacramento’s Oak Park neighborhood, nurtures the innate goodness and personal self-esteem of women and their children.

They serve nearly 200 women and children each weekday and offer four different programs: the Nutritious Meal Program, the Children's Corner Program, the Safety Net Services Program, and the Women's Wellness Program.

100 Black Men Sacramento Chapter

The mission of the 100 Black Men of America, Inc. is to improve the quality of life within our communities and enhance educational and economic opportunities for all African Americans. ​

The 100 seeks to serve as a beacon of leadership by utilizing our diverse talents to create environments where our children are motivated to achieve and to empower our people to become self-sufficient shareholders in the economic and social fabric of the communities we serve.

Sacramento Native American Health Center

The Sacramento Native American Health Center Inc. (SNAHC) is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) Federally Qualified Health Center, located in Sacramento, CA. The health center is committed to enhancing quality of life by providing a culturally competent, holistic, and patient-centered continuum of care. There are no tribal or ethnic requirements to receive care here.

River City Food Bank

River City Food Bank’s mission is to alleviate hunger by providing food to anyone in need. RCFB serves more than 30,000 people facing food insecurity each month. All are welcome.

RCFB helps people avoid a crisis and work toward self-reliance by providing a short-term food supply when they are unable to meet basic living expenses. Their programs serve low-income families, children, seniors, individuals who are medically fragile, refugees/asylum-seekers, individuals experiencing homelessness, the working poor and individuals with disabilities.
