Humanely Raised Meat

We support small farmers and ranchers who are dedicated to animal husbandry practices that prioritize the health of the animals and a respect for the environment. The meats we sell are sustainably raised and free of added growth hormones and antibiotics.

Non-GMO, Organic and
Cage-Free Poultry

All poultry sold at the Co-op has been raised in a cage-free environment and fed a vegetarian diet with no antibiotics. Certified Organic and Non-GMO Project verified turkey and chicken are available.

Sustainable Seafood​

We purchase our seafood from fisheries that are working in an environmentally responsible manner to maintain healthy species populations and habitats. All of the seafood we sell meets the standards for sustainability set by the Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch program.

Additionally, we offer sustainable caviar from Tsar Nicolai, produced right here in California.
