Member Engagement
Joining the Co-op is more than just being part of a locally owned business. We strive to create community in everything we do! Member Engagement is so important to us we’ve even written it into our bylaws and our board has a committee specifically for member engagement.

Member Engagement Session with Author Jon Steinman
February 12, 2022
Jon is the author of Grocery Story: The Promise of Food Co-ops in the Age of Grocery Giants and has delivered his food co-op presentations at over 150 events hosted by food co-ops, startups, universities, cooperative associations, libraries and bookstores.
Food co-ops have been tremendously successful in incubating widespread changes across the food system, but today, as competition aggressively mimics or replicates food co-ops’ product offerings and messaging, food co-ops are in need of reminding their members and communities what truly makes food co-ops different. Jon’s presentations are designed to better position food co-ops in this rapidly evolving grocery landscape and to inspire co-ops to continue to push the boundaries of possibility.

Harvest Festival
October 8, 2021
Our first rooftop event! We knew folks were tentatively interested in starting to attend in-person events, outside where folks could feel safe. The rooftop seemed ideal for a community event where we could bring all our vendors who had been missing out on in-person demos, community groups, some live music and see people again face-to-face. It was a huge success and was our first opportunity to create some fun perks just for our members.
