Pepper Jam Three Cheese Grilled Cheese

    Ingredients

    • 1 1/2 T. salted butter or ghee, at room temperature
    • 2 slices Village Bakery sourdough
    • 2 T Pepper Jelly
    • 2 oz. shredded muenster cheese
    • 2 oz. shredded harvati
    • 2 oz. shredded Black Diamond 4.5 year sharp cheddar

    Cooking Instructions

    Heat a cast-iron or nonstick skillet over medium-low heat.

    Spread the butter on one side of each slice of bread, dividing evenly. Place one slice, buttered-side down, on a clean cutting board.

    Mix together the shredded cheeses. Spread the jam on the slice and layer the shredded cheese mix on top.

    Place the other slice of bread on top, butter side up. Using a wide spatula, place down the sandwich in the pan, cover, and cook until the bottom is nicely browned, about 4 minutes.

    Turn and cook until the second side is browned and the cheese is melted, about 4 to 5 minutes longer.

    Cut the sandwich in half, and serve immediately.
