I wanted to thank everyone (this includes YOU!) for making our 50th Anniversary Celebration such a success! Even if you didn’t attend the actual event, I believe that the Co-op is made of not only people who have been intimately involved in our organization from the beginning but also folks who perhaps have never been to the Co-op but are interested in us enough to read this on our newsletter or our blog. The Co-op spirit is made up of all forms of participation.

CCMA Conference Comes to Sacramento

The Consumer Cooperative Management Association (CCMA) Conference, coordinated by the University of Wisconsin Cooperative Extension, is coming to Sacramento June 8-10.

The Sacramento Natural Foods Co-op, along with BriarPatch Co-op, Davis Food Co-op and Pachamama Coffee Cooperative will be cohosting this conference, which brings together board members, co-op management and others supporting our cooperative businesses from all over the country. These co-op leaders will spend several days together sharing with, and learning from our peers, as well as engaging some keynote speakers.
